Even with its limitations, the v0.01 demo showcased the potential of "Space Girl." It featured a simple action loop: players control Liatrice as she navigates the stage, fends off enemies with her ranged attacks, and attempts to reach the end. At this stage, the only enemies implemented were the "Lesser Alien" creatures. One notable feature was the ability for the player to voluntarily trigger a self-pleasuring animation by pressing the X key. Despite being a small demo, the file is playable, and served its purpose as a proof-of-concept.
