Kojima-sensei appears as the archetypal tsundere : harsh on the outside, flustered on the inside. But Episode 1 reveals her vulnerability. She’s short, easily embarrassed, and terrible at controlling her reactions. Her catchphrase, “ Anta wa shojo na no ne, baka ” (“That’s why you’re a virgin, idiot”), is less an insult and more a projection of her own frustrations. She’s a teacher who has never truly been seen—until Sato accidentally barges into her life.
Produced by Tear Studio, the anime features vibrant character designs that stay faithful to Soborou’s distinct art style. Sumire Uesaka delivers a standout vocal performance as Kana Kojima, effortlessly switching from an intimidating, deep-voiced teacher to a flustered, high-pitched teenager. Ryouta Suzuki perfectly captures Ichiro's sheer terror and panic as he tries to navigate his moral compass while surviving these encounters.
Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? (often shortened to NanKoko ) is a 12-episode anime series that aired in the Spring 2019 anime season. Directed by Hiraku Kaneko and Toshikatsu Tokoro, the series was produced by the now-defunct studio Tear. It is based on the ecchi romantic comedy manga of the same name by Soborou, which began serialization in 2016.
The differences between the original television broadcast and the official uncensored releases are substantial, altering how the comedy and visual gags land.
(released in December 2019) contains the fully uncensored episodes, including a bonus 13th episode (OVA). Manga Bundles

However, I can offer a general review of the first episode of Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? (Why the Hell Are You Here, Teacher!?) in its official release:
The episode opens on (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai), a perpetually unlucky high school student who cannot catch a break. His only solace? His beautiful, strict, and slightly sadistic Japanese language teacher, Kana Kojima (voiced by Sumire Uesaka).

Moreover, the series subtly critiques the loneliness of modern adulthood. Kojima’s lifestyle—working late, eating alone, pretending to be fine—resonates with millions of young professionals. In her accidental proximity to Sato, she finds something rare: genuine, unfiltered reaction from another human being. It is messy, inappropriate, and weirdly healthy.
The fully uncensored version was officially released via the Japanese Blu-ray box sets. This edition removes all digital obstructions, presenting the animation exactly as the creators intended.
Episode 1 sets the tone for the entire series. The "full" experience introduces us to the first major predicament: Satou enters the school’s men’s restroom only to find Kojima-sensei hiding in one of the stalls.
